Hello,

OpenERP takes the system locale by default and if you will change the system locale, openERP local will also change accordingly.

Thanks.

Hello,

You need to change your system locale in to 'en_in' which is related to indian format.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks.

Windows XP does not have an 'en_IN' locale so is there any other way i can customize date formats in openerp?

I have double checked the 'en_GB' locale and default format for date is dd/mm/yyyy but openerp is showing dates in mm/dd/yyyy.
I believe that openerp does not depend on system locale but on that language which is selected while creating a new database in openerp. And there is drop down for that field and it has English(US) as the ONLY english option and there is no option for English (UK). Any idea how to fix this?

I guess I found a kind of solution. Create a new language from Administration menu and set that as language for all users. Restart server and ask all users to relogin and it works.
