left-to-right languages

Asked by 3a2roub

i cant seem to get a decisive answer about this matter.
i have installed base_report_unicode v1.1 that allowed me to see Arabic characters and letters instead of black squares. but the words are written from left to right. which should not be the case in the Arabic language.
i tried modifying from inside the openerp client the language in the "translations" section, made it right-to-left, nothing changed.
any ideas?

thanks for the fast reply.
ive tried the method on haly's link before, it seems to have the same effect concerning the text direction in the generated pdf reports, which is why i went for the simpler "base_report_unicode module" method (both methods allow me to view arabic characters instead of black squares, in both methods arabic is written from left-to-right)

in case someone isnt figuring out what i mean:
if i create a new partner whose name is written in arabic, and then click print and print screen, arabic is LTR in the pdf report
