account asset module - where is it?

Asked by vrs

Hi

I can not find Assets (as in Fixed assets) module with openERP installation.
I am testing all-in-one 5.0.1 installation. I did see option in database configuration wizard for "assets", but can not find it anywhere in menu.

There should be module account_asset, or table in database named account_asset. Or not?

I saw a post that there is a bug in asset depreciation formula, so there must be module somewhere.

Question is how to obtain it?

Hello ,

Please Follow the following link for extra addons -

https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp-commiter/openobject-addons/trunk-extra-addons

In this link you will get the module account_asset module so please take this branch.

You can get the Asset module from the above link(https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp-commiter/openobject-addons/trunk-extra-addons) and download the module from there and add it to the addons folder in place where your openerp-server files are stored on your computer and then run server again and install Asset module.
