Reload BD for every change of XML views

Hi!
Im new in openepr and every time when i change the xml files i have to reload my DB to see alterations.
Im working with two xml files: the first one defines side bar menu and the second define model for each menu.
What can i do to avoid it??
May be i've missed smth?

Aksana,

This is by design and rule.

Each time you update the xml file, the database record of the particular xml record has to go through an update.

The alternate is, you can do the changes via user interface and not in xml file.

I have to update xml file because im on the developing stage, still learning how to deal with it.
Can you give me some link to design and rules?

Aksana,

doc.openerp.com will give you the insight of all TODO things.

But some rules and analysis will come only after either training/experience.
