How to install

Asked by Adam Saadeh

Hi all,

This is not a real BUG. But when I try to install the Enhansed version of Point of Sale modules ,I do the following:
- download all the files up to revision 8522 from the Tarball
- from the opernerp I update the modules from the setting/update module list
- then I have a long list of modules mostly by the author "openerp sa"

The question is how to determine what are the exact modules that should be included and you enhance for the POS application.

Can I choose according to author name. In this case who is the author

Salam Adam,

Where do you see revision 8522? The latest v7 is on https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp/openobject-addons/7.0 9411.

POS app can be found authored to OpenERP SA and name of the module is point_of_sale.

Thanks.

Hi,

What is the difference between this version of openERP especially for POS and the version from www.openerp.com. Note we are talk about version 7.

I means are there any customizations or enhansment/adding new functionalities in the link you gave over what we find in the openerp.com site.

R,
Adam

Adam,

See the revision number which shows there are changes.

Stable version does not enhance any functionalities, rather it does fixes only.

So no additions of feature.

Thanks.
