Name of components after duplicating a BOM

Hi,

We are a small (50 employees) manufacturing company in France, deploying OpenERP. We are performing data entry in a fresh installed system, and I have a question, not sure if it's a bug or not.

Make a new product "product1" "product2"
Make new products "subproduct1" "subproduct2" "subproduct3"
Make a news BOM for "product1" with the three subproducts
Duplicate the BOM, and change, for this new BOM, from "product1" to "product2"

Expected : The two products have the same BOM

In fact : Apparently the two products have the same BOM (in the components tab), but when you go to "Bill of Materials Structure" on the right, the "product2"'s components are : "SubProduct1 Copy" "SubProduct2 Copy" "SubProduct2 Copy"

Is it a bug, or just a mishandling ?

Excuse me for my poor english, don't hesitate to ask if someting is not clear enough.

It may well be a bug, I humbly suggest you file it as such.
I moved your question to the "addons" project where functional behavior is discussed.
