Can't Find "Update Module List" in 6.1 web client

Asked by Dustin Fennell

Hello,

I'm embarrassed to be asking this question, but, could someone tell me where the "Update Module List" button is in the 6.1 web client? I've read it's in Settings > Modules > Module(s??), but I can't for the life of me find it there. Google hasn't helped... I feel like I must be missing something, or overlooking something obvious.

Thanks,
-Dustin

Do you have "Extended View" enabled under your preferences?

You need to enable the "extended interface" in you user preferences for
the menu to be visible.

Hello,

You might have to add some rights to your user to see it.
Have you checked "extended view" in Usability ?

Cheers,
Yannick

In trunk version (addons 6779, server 4151, web 2428) I search lot of time to find how to activate "extended view".

It seems that now you can activate extended view via :
1/ Settings > Users > Your User (or Administrator)
2/ Go to Access Rights tab
3/ Check Technical Features in Usability Section

Now you have "Update module list".
