Please create an FAQ in Launchpad

Asked by Numérigraphe

Launchpad offers an option to file questions in an FAQ.
Unfortunately none was created for OpenERP. Could you please create one for each the server, the addons and the clients?
Lionel.

Given the fact that nobody ever uses the "search" button of the forum, I
wouldn't be too optimistic about a FAQ, either.

Converting this bug into a question, could even become a FAQ

Hello Lionel,

In fact creating generic FAQ entries for all projects does not make a lot of sense, because a FAQ is essentially a promoted question.

However you are free yourself to create FAQs out of questions you think are worth it.
This is not very obvious, but is explained in Launchpad FAQ ;-) https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+faq/667

Basically you simply need to join the "Answer Contacts" of the corresponding project.

I'm converting this to a FAQ because it will certainly help other people :-)

Olivier Dony (OpenERP) suggests this article as an answer to your question:
FAQ #1370: “How do I create a FAQ from a regular question, or from scratch?”.
