Openerp 5.0.6 installation on Ubuntu 10.04

Hi,
I need to Install openerp 5.0.6 on Ubuntu 10.04. When I tried it was not able to install the supporting modules. Also it shows some problem may be because it has python 2.6 .Can it be install on Ubuntu 10.04. ? else which is the compatible version of ubuntu?
also can you tell me which is the best linux OS for openerp 5.0.6?

Hello Satheesh,

OpenERP is suitable for all type of OSs. All distributions of Ubuntu are suitable for OpenERP.
