automatic Analytic account for products

I want to be able to input automatically the analytic account when I create some accounting movement depending on product or category of product. Besides I would like a different account for sales, purchases and other movements.

Meaning when I input an sales order or purchase order, when I input the product, I want to system to retrieve automatically the analytic account number (sales or purchase) from a table depending on the product, template or category (similar functionality and selection or ruling actually than the one used for the list price).

I dont know if this is a wish list or a question as I tried to used the account_analytic_default but as far as I can read the code, it implies to set a full set product/partner/user/company/date to have it work.
I have 450 products and several hundreds of partner so creating this pairing seems not to be an option for me.
Actually I could not have the module work depending on my selection and could not find information about it.
