How to invoice a task

As of today, I know only one way to invoice a task :
enter the time consumed on that task , and validate the timesheet setting the invoice field to 100%
Is there another way to do the invoice ?

Hello ,

You can create invoice from task entries using project_timesheet module.
So when you enter any task work inside task object of particular project. It will create Analytic entry.
From analytic entry, you need to fill invoicing field and then you can create invoice directly with help of wizard.

Dear vra,

this is almost what I was saying
When I spoke about timesheets I just added that the module hr_timesheet_sheet
will also fill the timesheet.
For the invoicing of the analytic line I think that if you put the invoicing fill at 100 % on the
analytic account it will be taken in account in the analytic lines related to that analytic account.

My question was is that the only way/method to invoice a task ? I guess yes but I'd like to be sure

Hello Maurice,

From time sheet also it will create analytic entry. So this are only option available for invoicing from project task or HR Timesheet.
