Can I trace back my average cost for a specific product?

Asked by Joel Cabral

Good Day!

I have this situation where I should have a trace back of my previous average cost.

Let say as of March 20, I have an average price of 22.00 for product A. On March 21, my average cost for product A becomes 23.00. Then my actual date of production is March 20 but encoded my production order march 21 and set my scheduled date to march 20.

First question, what would be the cost that specific production? Is it the cost on my scheduled date? Can I trace back the previous average cost?

Reply would be very much appreicated.

thanks,

Hello Joel,

Currently this type of scenario is not maintained by mrp module.
You can create blueprints for this issue.
You can add related code by including history object.
Thanks.
