Pricelist rule doesn't take into account UoM

Asked by James Wyson

Hi,

I would just like to confirm if the pricelist rules were designed to not take UoM into account. I created a product which can be sold in 2 UoM, meter and roll (150m) with meter being the default UoM. I also created a pricelist rule that states that a discount will be applied to the base price when 150 meters of the product is ordered. The pricelist rule works when 150 is entered in the quantity and the UoM is meter but it doesn't work when 1 quantity of roll is entered. I also checked if it was due to round off by setting the pricelist rule quantity to 149 instead of 150 but it still didn't work.

Hello James Wyson,

How did you assign 2 different UOM in single product?

Pricelist rule will apply only for 150 qty and how can you relate this with UOM. If you were giving 1 quantity of roll but rule is applied for direct quantity 150. It's not related with each other.

You can give UOS in product separately with its conversion coefficient . It will apply the formula which is written in help of coefficient field. It will change its quantity according to UOS and UOM conversion factor.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks.
