This was not actually a Wishlist, thanks to Stefan and OpenBMS JSC for tracking down the issue and fixing it!

Stefan's fix has just been merged:
 - 6.0: rev 4909 rev-id: <email address hidden>
 - 6.1/trunk: rev 5514 rev-id: <email address hidden>
