Using OpenLP source code for custom implementation

Asked by Gonzalo Martin

Hello! First of all, I wanted to congrat you for the hard work done for OpenLP. It's very useful for our church and we're using it every sunday and in other special events on our church. We are very satisfied with this usage.

My question is about the using your code for our custom implementation. We want to modify some features in order to adjust them to our daily uses.
It will be a open source like OpenLP.

Please, let me know what requeriments are needed to implement this desire.

Regards and God bless you!

Gonzalo

You should probably start by looking at our wiki:
http://wiki.openlp.org/Main_Page#Development

If you are using Windows or MacOS you probably also needs to packages OpenLP which is a bit complicated due to OpenLP being written in python. See https://code.launchpad.net/~openlp-core/openlp/packaging

What special features is it you are misssing? Thought about contributing to OpenLP? Maybe others has the same needs...

Can you help with this problem?
