How to create executable for Windows

Hello, I am trying to build the executable for windows and have not been successful.
Would I like a step by step how to create the executable from the source code. I've read all the wiki and could create the executable for Linux, but for Windows it is so difficult in emtender how.

Hi Emanuel,

First of course you'll need to setup the development environment as described here: http://wiki.openlp.org/Windows_Environment
Then you'll need to get the packaging code from https://code.launchpad.net/~openlp-core/openlp/packaging
Once you've checked out the packaging code go to windows/windows-builder.py and read the comments in the top of the file for requirements for building for windows.
Feel free to drop by in the IRC channel for further help.
