Remote module repositories does not work for me

Asked by Grant Forester

Hi there,

I can't get the remote module repositories to work. The manual says to just put the URL in. I added

http://www.openerp.com/download/modules/5.0/

but with the default Filter nothing is imported. If I change the filter and take the version info out and just put () instead it finds over 350 additional modules, but muggles up the version info.

Do I need to put in another URL or is this not working any more?

Grant

Using current Windows full installer 5.0.3 on windows xp.

You can checkout latest addons from launchpad.
https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp/openobject-addons/5.0

Thanks for the answer. I took the link you provided and put it into a new entry into the repository list and activated that item. After that I pressed "update module list" and it said it would search in the local directory and the above link, but found only the original 101 modules which I guess are in the local addon directory.

Can you only manually install new modules from the provided link? not through the repository list?

Hi MGA,

Do you mean, update module list is no logger supported?
