Unable to Create Journal Entry

I keep getting this error message when trying to receive product

Error!

Can not create Journal Entry, Input Account defined on this product and Valuation account on category of this product are same.

I have created different Journals for different locations/shops not sure where the error exist, any help with this issue is greatly appreciated

I am really reevaluating if having different journals for the locations is they way to do a different profit and loss for each location/shop

Well, response is on a voluntary basis. In my case, I did read your question earlier but I did not think it would be easy to ask you 'did you check the input account on the product and the valuation account on the category of the product' and not sound unhelpful ;-)

These properties are mandatory for products that are set to real-time stock valuation. I think this error also occurs if both are not set.
