Do you have plans for creating debs for VMs that do not have X installed?

It's currently not possible creating a build without X as the configure script currently lacks some options.

We have this problem on Gentoo too:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=192377

Already posted to the open-vm-tools-devel Mailinglist and it looks like the developers will take care of this issue.
