How do you apply a word suggestion?

I am using Onboard with word suggestions enabled, but I can't figure out how to get the suggestion to be written. When I click on the suggestion, it only gives me the option to remove the suggestion. I have tried single clicking, right-clicking, and double clicking, but I cannot get it to write the word. How do I make it write the word?

I fixed this by compiling from source instead of using the one from Discover, and switching to Xinput (this previously would crash Onboard). Any plans to update the repository Discover uses to include the fix for the Xinput crash?
