How to Install and open Onboard

Asked by Raphael Rolands

I'm new to ubuntu I'm curruntly running the OS on a virtual machine (VM Box), I'm trying to install onboard, not working, I downloaded the .tar.gz file from launchpad.net/onboard I extracted the files and followed the steps in the README file, starting with sudo apt-get build-dep onboard I get this message (You must put some 'deb-src' URIs in your sources.list), on the other hand, sudo apt-get install devscripts worked just fine, bzr branch lp:onboard, message (you did not inform bzr of your Launchpad id), I also tried to install the setup python file but i got this error, File "./setup.py", line 33, in <module> from distutils.core import Extension, Command; ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'distutils.core'
I'm just lost here can anyone set me up and show me how to get started!
Thank you

Update: I just clicked on show applications2 seconds later and there it is, looks like I installed it successfully, thank you!
