can't install on kali linux 2020.2

Hello all,

i'm a new user of kali linux 2020.2 and i can't install onboard.

i have gnome, kde, mate, xfce and lxde desktop environments installed on kali,

the only way i can install onboard is by using store in kubuntu, but by terminal i can't.

i typed:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install onboard

but it didn't work

then i downloaded all Package files for ubuntu from this url:

https://launchpad.net/~onboard/+archive/ubuntu/stable/+sourcepub/7494069/+listing-archive-extra

then go to terminal and typed:
cd ~/Downloads

sudo dpkg -i "downloaded file's name"
like sudo dpkg -i onboard-common_1.4.1-0ppa2~zesty_all.deb
but it didn't wok

finally, i closed terminal and opened it again and typed:

sudo git clone https://github.com/linuxmint/onboard.git

and it downloaded some files.

now, i have onboard and onboard setting icons but they don't open.

so what must i do now?
and how can i install "onboard-1.4.1.tar.gz " file?
or how can i install onboard by terminal?
