Onboard disappears when trying to type in Cinnamenu search field.

Thanks for Onboard.
When I tap my Cinnamenu there is a text field to do a search. Onboard pops up just fine, but when I start to type Cinnamenu disappears along with Onboard.
It's normal for Cinnamenu to close when touching or clicking somewhere else, and I assume that signals Onboard to close.
It works fine with the fixed virtual keyboard.
Is this a Cinnamenu issue or an Onboard issue?
