Is there a way to select the suggested word by hitting space

Is there a a way to select the suggested word by hitting space.

when I type "watcing", It suggest me "watching" (in red color), which is the right word, is the a way or option to replace the typed word with suggested one?

Ubuntu 16.04

You can use the pointer to select the word suggested by the spellchecker. I don't know of another way, even in the more recent versions of Onboard available in our PPAs.
