Onboard

Swype (or swype-like usability) support request.

Swype is an instrumental part of easing the typing experience without tactile keys. onboard is by far the best OSK for linux, I'm asking to consider adding swype or swype-like support to the keyboard (if its in there already I didn't find it or any docs on it)

Thanks for your suggestion. Stroke-based text input is something we think about from time to time too. There even exists a very experimental branch, that I started in order to evaluate what might be needed, but it's very far from being any kind of usable.
I'd be curious how far we could take it, however it's not clear to me, if we, as an open source project, have the resources to actually finish this. I'll keep your interest in mind, though.
