Is there any way that I could get onBoard to work in Windows 7? I have not found an onscreen keyboard for Windows that comes close to being as good as onBoard. There are times when I can't use Linux Mint and have to use Windows archaic onscreen keyboard.

Thanks for the question, good to hear you like Onboard :).

Unfortunately, there is no support for Windows at all at the moment. Most of Onboard is presumably portable Python and GTK, but there are many places where we had to resort to utterly unportable low-level tricks. I suspect getting it to run natively on platforms without X would be a lot of (programming) work.

Perhaps there are other ways, though, but I haven't heard anyone trying yet: running in cygwin, coLinux or andLinux for example. You'd most likely still need to disable unsupported stuff in the source code, but it's perhaps worth a try. If you dare to try, let us know how it goes.

Can you help with this problem?
