Scanning is a way of accessing a computer for people that cannot use a mouse and a keyboard, but only one or more switches.

The scanning mode in onboard is merely a small proof of concept. Real switch user need more functions than those provided by onboard; for example, for switch users, the onscreen keyboard should also provide access to the menus of the applications, similar to how gok is doing it.
