how to evince multi touch

Using Ubuntu 10.10 and Evince and external app. Do I have to add any code or drivers to get my app to use multi touch gestures?

You can use the PPA to get libgrip for Maverick:

Note that you will get all the latest packages as well... so be sure you want that before you add that PPA.

I tried to install the PPA but got a keyserver receive failed message. It timed out. Also the install info link did not work.

I've asked our team to look into this for you. We're all using the PPA, as are many community members, so something strange is happening. You should get a request for more information soon.

Mark, I suggest using apt-add-repository to add the repo:

$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:utouch-team/utouch

That should ensure the repository is set up correctly.
