Victor, can you provide more information please?

What is the exact model of the hardware that you have? Also, is it a touch-enabled monitor? A trackpad? Something else?

Also, I will ask one of the team members to update this question for a command that you can run in order to get more information about your device, to see if it's supported.

If you are running Ubuntu 10.10 you can run "sudo lsinput" to get all the input devices.

Thanks for you help, I have already updated linux kernel for supporting multitouch with this device. You can see it in 2.6.38 version or visit http://lii-enac.fr/ for downloading patch... but can you help with using TUIO daemons and compiz multitouch plugin?

Yes, TUIO is on its way, thanks to Stephane Chatty and his students. There is another question about this which we are posting updates to:
  https://answers.launchpad.net/utouch/+question/131197

As for the MT compiz plugin, we have a dedicated project for this:
  https://launchpad.net/canonical-multitouch/utouch-compiz

It is a work in progress.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Victor for more information if necessary.
