I need your help... because I need to make run the multitouch framework MT4J in Ubuntu using the as input the monitor multitouch M2256PW of 3M.
So the main problem is this:
   - 3M uses a private drivers for Linux (but I dont know if is working, because only simulate the mouse, someone with experience can help me!!?!!)
   - MT4J support TUIO and Windows7,
I read in wikiUbuntu that PyMT works in Ubuntu with this device, it is true? how? Can I do something similar for Mt4J?

Thanks in advance!!!

The 3M monitor works out-of-the-box since Maverick (10.10). For TUIO support, check out the mtdev2tuio project (http://<email address hidden>/msg00621.html). And yes, PyMT works with the 3M monitor, using the mtdev input provider. See for instance http://pymt.eu/docs/api/api-pymt.input.providers.mtdev.html.
