When will 10.10 support Lenovo x201 tablet?

Asked by axure

Does Ubuntu 10.10 support multi-touch on the ThinkPad X201 tablet?
I assume no, since the list of supported devices is pretty short now.
So when can we expect support for this specific device?

Wow, guys, what a speedy answer! (Well, no answer yet, but at leats someone noticed.) Just as X201t is about to be phased out. (I'd bet good money that Lenovo will announce next gen tablet PC by mid March.)

Yeah, sorry about that... only today we realized that 90% of the questions being asked were not being noticed due to a lack of team subscription.

That's been fixed now, so we should get notifications for questions both here and in the packages (fixing that took a couple of hours...).

Hi axure,

Can you run $ sudo lsinput and paste the output here? This will help us identify your hardware.

Thanks!

But a confirmation with lsinput is very welcome.

Thanks,
