Can you please explain what you think is unclear? There is nothing in readme.txt that mentions autostart22.el. (However it will be called from autostart.el if you are using Emacs 22.)

Yes, in README autostart22.el in not mentioned but having
emacs22 and seeing that file and reading it (which says
'This file is for Emacs 22 only.' ) i was little confused.

To be true the confusion maybe is magnified by the fact
that i loaded some test .xhtml files but the nXML mode is
activated not the nXhtml. (Should i remove nXML?) .

Anyway i still cant work in the mode .(seeing nXML still..)
but i see in the menu toolbar the nXhtml menu.

Thats a progress. Thanks

I considered my answer solved since autostart.el
will call autostart22.el apparently since i see the nXhtml in emacs
menu bar having used only autostart.el in my .emacs ( i have emacs 22.2.1 with gtk)
