Nuvola Apps Runtime (Nuvola Player)

Cannot remove Nuvola Player 1.0.5 - Ubuntu 13.04

Hello,

I cannot remove Nuvola Player 1.0.5 despite trying purge and autoremove commands, as well as complete removal from synaptic. The message says that Nuvola Player is not installed so it will not be removed. I am trying to install the newest version but have been having trouble.

This may be because I installed using a "zip" file, but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

You have probably installed Nuvola Player from source code. If you have the source directory still on your hard disk, you should run "sudo ./waf uninstall" from that directory. If not, you have to remove Nuvola Player's directories and files manually. Command "find / -name nuvolaplayer" should help you to locate them.

Thanks for your help, Jiří. I was able to remove the files manually and install the latest version of Nuvola. Thanks for the great software as well!
