How to set nuvola player as the default media player in Gnome 3

Asked by erlguta

Hi.
Now that I use nuvola player with Google Play it is essential for my life ;)
The problem is that I want to set it as the default media player, so that if I press the Hotkey of my multimedia button in the keyborad it open nuvola and not rythmnbox.

I use gnome3 (3.4+6) in Debian testing (Wheezy) fully updated.

Thank you for your time and support.

Default applications are configured in System Settings → System Info → Default Applications, but it seems GNOME 3 changed a method used to retrieve a list of music players, so Nuvola Player doesn't appear in the list anymore. Could you create a bug report?

Can you help with this problem?
