How to enable userscript?

Asked by Anatol Prisacaru

I understand the userscript feature is experimental, but I just want to hide the upper Google bar. I downloaded already downloaded this http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/105723 script, it seems to be ok (the google bar still have the #gb id). I put this script in ~/.local/share/nuvolaplayer/userscripts/105723.user.js, but I just can't enable it. I tried to fill in the script filename "105723.user.js", or just "105723", also tried to change @name property of the script to "gb" and try to enable it by name, tried to restart the nuvola, but nothing worked,, I can't even make an "alert(1)" work. I am running Linux Mint 11 (Ubuntu 11.10 derivation) and nuvolaplayer 1.0.2.

Use filename without ".js" extension: "105723.user.js" → "105723.user".

FYI userscripts feature will be removed in the next release (1.1.0).

Can you help with this problem?
