Why are Grooveshark preferences not persistent?

There's a Grooveshark setting to "Stream smaller, lower quality songs (good for slow connections).".

Everytime I open Nuvola, my user loads correctly (seems like I'm still logged in which is good), but my settings go away.
This is the same behaviour as when I load Grooveshark from a new client, like a new browser.

It gives me the impression that everytime Nuvola loads Grooveshark, it acts as a new client forcing me to re-set those preferences.
(e.g., I can close and open firefox and the settings persist. I can't close and open Nuvola without loosing my preferences).
