I'm also experiencing this problem, and I'm on XUbuntu 13.04. I've confirmed that I have the 1.10.2 version of WebKitGTK (see below, also see http://pics.jakimfett.com/13-10-15_12:26:02.png)

For me, this problem didn't show up until about 2 weeks ago, before which I was fine. I thought it was a temporary thing (network problems, perhaps), so I'm just now trying to find a fix for it. Google brought me here, and according to the "resolution" (it's a problem with WebKitGTK 1.8.x), I shouldn't be having this problem.

I'm on the Stable Nuvolaplayer branch. Output of "aptitude show libwebkitgtk-3.0-0" is below.

Description: Web content engine library for GTK+
WebKit is a web content engine, derived from KHTML and KJS from KDE, and used
primarily in Apple's Safari browser. It is made to be embedded in other
applications, such as mail readers, or web browsers.

It is able to display content such as HTML, SVG, XML, and others. It also
supports DOM, XMLHttpRequest, XSLT, CSS, Javascript/ECMAscript and more.

This is the library for embedding in GTK+ applications.
