Ubuntu con Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller

No logro que mi computador (HP Paillion dv6700) funcione correctamente cuando configuro Ubuntu para que utilice los 4 gb de ram.
Que puedo hacer?

A que te refieres con los 4GB?

generalmente los computadores, se setean desde la bios, y ninguna tarjeta grafica te dara soporte para 4gb de ram.

si te refieres a la memoria del computadore con el comando free en la consola podras ver cuanto ram estas usando del total de tu pc.
