How to use config drive functionality in Openstack Nova (folsom)

Hi,
I'd like to start using the config-drive feature available in folsom but cannot seem to find any documentation to show how this can be utilized in guest VMs.

Is there any documentation to show how config drive can be used for virtual machines ?
I can see information for the nova.conf flags required on the hosts, but nothing for the guests.

can anyone point me to examples of how this could be used and exposed as storage to the virtual machine?

any advice or guidance would be really appreciated

the additional drive is only used for passing in configuration information to the launched vm, since it's a read-only iso that gets attached, it cannot be used for any other purpose.
