Xenserver 5.6 - Plugins

I wanna make some fress installation from nova packages for ubuntu lucid 10.04 and xenserver 5.6.

But i don't find the plugins for xenserver in any packages:

i installed this packages nova-common nova-doc python-nova nova-api nova-network nova-objectstore nova-scheduler nova-compute from this repositories.

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nova-core/release

any idea?

Hi hoortiz,

The Xen Plugins are in the nova source tree under the plugins/xenserver/xenapi/ directory.

XenServer is Centos based so you won't find any deb packages for the XenServer plugins in the Debian repos. I don't think there is a public repo yet for the XenServer plugins but we should make it an action item to set up one of those on the Openstack Jenkins.

You should be able to build your own packages. The plugins/xenserver/xenapi/contrib directory has the RPM SPEC file and a simple bash script that should help you create an RPM for the xenserver plugins.
