support cross physical machine instance?

Now I have 2 compute node.
Node A have 8 core, node B have 8 core.
But node A run other instance and the node A left over 2 core.

Now, I want run new instance and need 4 core.
Can use node A 2 core and combine node B 2 core to run the new instance?

I can't imagine it's possible to spread an instance across two physical machines.

OpenStack can only do whatever the hypervisors will allow us to.
