Is there a story behind the name "Notitie"?

Asked by Kirk Bridger

It feels like there might be a story about the origins of the project name - care to share? Or is it just something you like the sound of?

I think it comes from the dutch translation for "note", which is in fact "notitie".

Tom is right, we (Emichan and I) were playing around with Google Translate, translating random Dutch words to find something suitable. Among the other candidates were "aardappelschilmesje" and "flessendopje", I believe. :)

We felt "Notitie" fit the project nicely and we liked how it sounded.
