NitroShare blocked by UFW firewall

Asked by Bartek

Hello,

How should I configure UFW firewall to work with NitroShare? I use Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows XP. By default UFW blocking NitroShare.

By the way Thanks for such easy to use application. It's exactly what I was looking for sharing files :D

NitroShare needs to be able to accept incoming packets on the following ports:

UDP - 41720
TCP - 41721

Basically all you need to do is set UFW to allow incoming connections to those two ports and the application should run without any issues. Please let me know if you have any further questions or run into any difficulties.
