set default location

How do I set the location for Nightshade? When I go to the Location window, can't change the Lat and Long settings. I can hover over the map to find my location using the cursor, but when I click, nothing seems to happen. Is your current location displayed on the screen anywhere? (I am familiar with Stellarium so trying to do everything the same way). Thanks

Hello,

Using a map in a planetarium (and a mouse to select something) can be tricky.

The only adapted choice is using the MENU by pressing the "M" key of the keyboard and then going in the 1. Location menu and entering your latitude/longitude.

When you click on the location map your location is changed. It is a bug that the values are not printing on that screen.

To see your location go to the text menu by hitting 'm' and arrow down to "1. Location" and then 'Enter', and you can see Latitude, Longitude, etc. using the arrow keys. You can also change these here.

Thanks so much. But it seems that those settings are not saved when you exit Nightshade? Is there a way to save the location settings?

Go to text menu item 8.2 if you want to save all your current settings as the default.

Or hit the "Save location" button in the location GUI screen to just save the new location.
