There is not a Nightshade user guide yet. The closest existing document would be the 0.8.1 Stellarium user guide:

Also look at the help window ('h') for keystrokes and the StratoScript command reference for scripting features (see the download section of the Nightshade website).

Ok thanks a lot. I don't actually work at a Planetarium but I am secretary of an astronomy club and work closely with the directors of the Planetarium here in Accra, Ghana. They don't have too many programs at the Planetarium as yet, so I thought Nightshade would be great for giving "free-format" presentations on the night sky. I will aim to do a lot more experimenting then I'm sure more questions will come!
