Full dome adjustment

Asked by Farzad Hafeez

Dear all!!!

I have set up a dual projection dome system, and was just wondering how to set up nightshade so that it runs on the center of the dome... or in other words how to fit it exactly on the screen...

I have tried tinkering with the config.ini file and changing resolutions and have had success to some extent...

I was running the system in portrait mode with res 2048x1600 and the software ran perfectly but after changing to landscape with the same res, 2048x1600 I can not get the software to run on the exact center.

Many thanks! Great program!

Nightshade will center on the current viewport by default when starting with no config file (easiest option).

Not knowing how it is not centered I have to guess that either you do not have your displays set up as one desktop quite right or you are using an old configuration file for a different resolution.

Also, if it worked one way, why not just use it that way? You can adjust your heading as needed.
