Mac version - external_viewer

Hi,
I am running the latest version of Nightshade on Mac. I have tired the external_viewer code in a script and all i get is a message on the screen all most repeating the code I have entered.

Is there something I am missing, ie do I have to install and "external viewer" or does it not work on the Mac version.

Any and all help would be very greatfull

The external_viewer command shows media content only on Digitarium builds of Nightshade. It will only display the message popup on all flavors of desktop builds (Mac, Windows, Linux).

Can you help with this problem?
