problems getting mplayer to display over Nightshade

So I've got everything configured so that the external_viewer script command launches a video in mplayer full screen (this is on Mac OS X)

It works fine, except that when I run Nightshade fullscreen the video plays in a layer behind Nightshade - so it's not visible at all.

If I quit Nightshade without stopping the video it's there playing full screen - but I'd prefer not to have to quit Nightshade every time I want to show a fulldome clip....

Hello,

We encountered this kind of problems too.
It's some graphic cards realted issue.

We never encountered those kind of problems with NVIDIA GeForce graphic cards so far.

They produce better result and less stress than ATI cards so far with Linux.
