Rotate positions of cardinal points?

Asked by SarahAccra

When I first start NIghtshade (on a PC) , the cardinal points are displayed, and N is up, S is down etc. Is there a way to rotate the positions of the cardinal points so that, for example, N is to the right? (Of course all the other points would be in the correct positions relative to N). The reason I am asking is that at the Ghana Planetarium where I hope to use this software, our audience tends to sit on one side, so they are looking primarily above their heads and in front of them. IF I want to show them where a particular planet/other feature is, it may be displayed behind them, and it is difficult for them to turn as we don't have swivel chairs! In Stellarium I just use the arrow keys to change from viewing S to E, N, W. But when I use the arrow keys in Nightshade it seems to rotate the view so that I end up being able to see only the ground rather than any sky.

You could change the Heading, TUI menu item 1.5. (Hit 'm' and use the arrow keys to navigate in the menu.)

Aha! That's great, thanks so much! (My only tiny point now would be that as the heading changes, the position of the output of the "M" menu changes with it, so it could end up being upside down - but that's a minor point!)
