Snippet for card modulation with NDEF data needed

Asked by Mikolaj Dobielewski on 2016-10-27

Hello

I'm trying to emulate a card with pn532 breakout board using the instruction given in the "Getting started/Emulate a card" section, but it doesn't seem to work for the latest version of the library. I noticed, that the class NdefAttributeData is now absent and therefore the instruction for emulation is obsolete. Also I would like to put some .ndef data on my emulated card to be read by a reader. How do I do that?

Thanks in advance.

Mikolaj

Looks like there is some work to do on the documentation. For the time being, if you're interested in just the end result of emulating a type 3 tag then try "tagtool.py emulate tt3 ...". If you want to include in your code then have a look at https://github.com/nfcpy/nfcpy/blob/master/examples/tagtool.py#L503 where the 16 byte attribute data are built.

The example code in the documentation is now updated.
